A grooming salon books by conversation: a message, a suggested time, a reply, a change. Every appointment costs the owner an exchange, and the ones that arrive after closing wait until morning. The site had to take that exchange off the owner's phone without asking a customer to learn a system.

the site, top to bottom.

Services, what to expect on the day, and the booking route sit in one sequence, so a first-time owner can read and book without going back to the top.

orientation

The first screen shows the room and the animal in it, so the tone of the place is set before a price is.

decision

Services and care information answer the questions that would otherwise arrive as messages.

delivery

The calendar takes the appointment directly, including the ones made after closing.

responsive system

booked from a phone, usually one-handed.

Nobody books a groomer at a desk. The phone view keeps the service, the price and the calendar in the same order as the desktop page rather than folding them into a menu, so the booking is still three taps from the top of the page.

what it costs to keep alive.

The site was moved off paid hosting when it was rebuilt. It now runs at €0 a month.

before

A recurring monthly bill for hosting the previous site, paid whether or not anything changed.

after

€0 a month. The domain is the only recurring line, it is registered to the client, and it is theirs to take anywhere.

the catch

There isn't a hidden one. Transactional email above free tiers and unbranded multi-user booking tools are the two things that would add cost, and both get named before work starts.
